Hinterland, a wild and unexplored place. The work in this exhibition is an expression of memory, loss, and longing prompted by a fall into unfamiliar emotional surroundings. These clay vessels and sculptures were made as a reflection of walks in the boreal forest with Chalmers’ father. Hinterland invites viewers to explore their connection to place and memories and emotions they might encounter there.
